In the early stages of his career, our founder, Luke, worked as a Mortgage & Protection Adviser at an estate agency. While he found satisfaction in being an adviser, he was dissatisfied with the target-driven environment, and he felt that profits were prioritised over clients' needs.
After searching for a workplace that would allow him to thrive as an adviser, he quickly realised that such a place did not exist. The mortgage industry felt impersonal, overly complex, and rather uninspiring. He understood that if he wanted to effect change, he would need to create that change himself.
In 2017, Luke established this company committed to personalising and simplifying the mortgage experience. He aimed to stay true to his values, foster meaningful relationships with his clients, and help them navigate the home buying process with clarity. His goal was to be engaging and memorable, refusing to settle for average.
